Founded in 2015, Care Collaborator was born from a simple observation: home care providers were drowning in paperwork while participants waited for care. We set out to change that — forever.
OUR ORIGIN
Born from a real problem in aged care
In 2015, our founder watched care coordinators attend first home visits with lots of paperwork needing to be completed. It took at least another home visit to complete the paperwork and then back to the office to input this into a "Word" document and go out to the client's home, yet again, to present the completed forms and get a signature. In the meantime, the client was left waiting for services and the Provider wasn't able to claim anything. Nobody won.
The insight was simple: the tools being used for onboarding were designed for an era before cloud software, mobile devices, and digital signatures existed. Spreadsheets. Word docs. Wet ink. Repeat home visits just to get a signature.
We built Care Collaborator to replace that entire workflow with a single, seamless platform — one that handles everything from care planning and individualised budgets through to the legally compliant final signature, right there in the participant's home, on the first visit.
Today we partner with providers of all sizes across Australia — from small operators to large national organisations — and we're still guided by that original mission: handle the compliance and calculations so your team can focus on the person in the room.
